Pisces Looking back on it now, we owe this all to Pisces. We bought her in 1999 as a skinny, scrawny four year old who had just weaned off a pasture-bred foal. She was as calm and sweet as could be, and we fell in love with her face. Once we got some weight on her, she developed an “I don’t want to and you can’t make me—unless you ask very nicely and I feel like humoring you by letting you think you’re in charge” attitude that made us love her even more. We lost Pisces very unexpectedly on November 14, 2008. We miss her very much and will never be the same without her. She will live on in our hearts and memories, and we will tend the inhabitants of Quacking Cow Animal Rescue in her honor.
